ACTIVITIES OF THE POLISH ENIC/NARIC
This section of the website describes the activities of the Bureau for Academic Recognition and International Exchange related to recognition.
As the Polish ENIC/NARIC centre, the Bureau realizes each year activities co-financed by the European Commission within the framework of Socrates program. These activities include the promotion of good practice in recognition and organization of Transnational Education among Polish higher education instituions. The Bureau has also promoted the implementation of Diploma Supplement in Poland.
As the Polish contact point for the EU directives on the recognition of professional qualifications, the Bureau co-operates closely with the Ministry of National Education and Sport and other bodies responsible for the recogniton. One of the activities in this field was the MATRA project realized in 2003-2004.
The Bureau carries out many other activities related to recognition, providing information through publications and training activities and promoting good practice among the bodies responsible for recognition. One of them was the survey on nostrification procedure, the results of which are presented in this section.
The staff of the Polish ENIC/NARIC participates in various events organized by other Polish and foreign bodies as recognition experts.
