The Bureau is the contact point for the EU directives of general system of recognition of professional qualifications (for more information see Recognition of EU professional qualifications).
The Bureau, as the Polish ENIC/NARIC centre, co-operates closely with the ENIC/NARIC Network.

THE ENIC/NARIC NETWORK
ENIC – (European Network of National Information Centres for academic recognition and mobility) is a network established in 1994 by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and by the UNESCO Regional Committee for Europe. It cooperates closely with the NARIC network of the European Union.
NARIC – (National Academic Recognition and Information Centre) is a network established by the European Commission in 1984. The network aims at improving academic recognition of diplomas and periods of study in the Member States of EC. Its purpose is also an effective, close co-operation between countries with regard to academic and professional recognition. NARIC is a component of SOCRATES Programme.
